CREATING A SOLID FINANCIAL
FOUNDATION! Presented by Lee Phillips
Just like building a house, you can't construct a financial fortune from the roof down. You need to build a foundation first. Have you ever noticed that some people seem to have wealth flow to them? Yes, some professions tend to pay more than others, but in every field, those with the most wealth are the ones that have a legal foundation already in place. This foundation is set up using an understanding of the legal strategies associated with wealth accumulation. Unfortunately, many people are "taken to the cleaners" by less-than-competent lawyers who fail to educate their clients.
The basic foundation of wealth consists of four legal tools;
- Testamentary Will - Everyone needs a will. Even if you have a revocable trust, you need a will.
- Living Revocable Trust - The living trust is created to enable an estate to avoid probate, get twice the estate tax exclusion, and provide for a smooth transfer of property.
- Durable Power of Attorney - Allows an individual to control the property of a person who is unable to control his/her own property.
- Living Will - A living will simply is designed to direct the doctors to keep you alive or pull the plug.
If you understand these four tools and know how to use them, your chances for success are much better. If you and/or your parents don't have these four tools already, it is time to get moving. It's worth every effort you make and every dime you spend getting this foundation in place.
About our Speaker:
Lee Phillips: At age 27 Lee Phillips, just out of law school and embarking on his new career was told he had advanced cancer and had only weeks to live. That was in 1982. During months of debilitating cancer treatment and hospitalization, Lee gained firsthand experience in effectively dealing with the legal system, asset protection, the medical industry, and insurance companies. To survive, he figured out what he should have done to handle life's unexpected "bumps in the road" that we all face.
Since his recovery, he has become a nationally known author and lecturer on financial security. During the past 18 years, Lee has advised more than 500,000 financial professionals, attorneys, doctors, accountants and entrepreneurs throughout the United States and Canada. He is well suited to help you too.
AIREO has designated September 13th as Guest Night, so why not invite your friends who haven't been to an AIREO meeting in a while. They will thank you for introducing them to one of the country's foremost authorities on estate planning and asset protection.

THE MILLIONAIRE NEXT DOOR! Presented by a Distinguished Panel of local investors
About our Speakers:
This month at AIREO we will be presenting a panel of investors from our group. Some you may know some you may not know. What you will find out is what they are doing to generate income and wealth from their own real estate investments. Some are wholesalers, some are rehabbers, some are landlords and some do a little bit of each. While any one of these scenarios can earn you extra income and generate wealth, doing two or even all three strategies could make you “The Millionaire Next Door”.
Our distinguished panel of local investors include;
