THE MILLIONAIRE NEXT DOOR

This month at AIREO we will be presenting a panel of investors from our group. Some you may know some you may not know. What you will find out is what they are doing to generate income and wealth from their own real estate investments. Some are wholesalers, some are rehabbers, some are landlords and some do a little bit of each. While any one of these scenarios can earn you extra income and generate wealth, doing two or even all three strategies could make you “The Millionaire Next Door”.

Our distinguished panel of investors this month will include:

Clifford Thrasher is a self-employed heating and air-conditioning contractor who has been around AIREO for as long as I can remember. Cliff and his wife Odessa buy and fix-up a house a year. They keep most of them for rentals.

Cathy Crowe is a real estate broker and investor who sold me my first apartment building and could sell you a good rehab property too. Between brokering and investing Cathy has done hundreds and hundreds of houses.

Jerry Darnaby claims to be a newbie, he has only been buying and selling houses for about 2 1/2 years. However, he and his wife Ellen are turning 30 to 40 houses a year.

John Ellis is a full time investor who describes himself as a rehabber. He has a full time crew which he uses to remodel his houses. Then he sells retail; John does on average a house a month.

Glenn Kubick is a computer programmer who does real estate part-time. He does most of the work on the houses himself and has done four houses so far this year. He says working on his own houses is his personal therapy.

Bob Nance, yours truly who has done all of the above and has decided that being a landlord with apartment buildings is the easiest way to early retirement.
